When you send parcels to France, a cardboard box must be used for the outer packaging due to COVID-19 handling restrictions.
All parcels shipped to France through us are insured to the value of £50.00, which is free of charge. You can fully insure your goods being sent to France by purchasing additional insurance cover at the time of booking (exclusions apply).
What Courier services to France to we offer?
If you require a next day delivery, consider using our UPS Express Saver option, this is usually overnight shipping. We also offer an economy service through UPS. These deliveries are sent via road and can take up to 3 days to ship. However, booking through this can significantly reduce your postage costs.
Can I send a large parcel to France?
We can ship a parcel to France up to 160cm in length and 60kg in weight. The volumetric size of your package(s) cannot exceed 300,000cm3. (This is calculated by multiplying H x W x D in cm). These apply to collected services. If you are using a drop off service, a maximum parcel size of 25kg is allowed and the volumetric weight cannot exceed 125,000cm3.
What about sending a heavy parcel to France?
We can ship heavy parcels ro France, providing the dead weight does not: a. exceed 60kg, and: b. does not exceed the volumetric size of 300,000cm3 (see calculation above). If dropping off at a parcel shop, the maximum weight is 25kg and a volumetric weight of 125,000cm3.
As the United Kingdom has left the European Union, you're probably wondering how Brexit affects shipping. To keep the answer simple, all parcels sent outside the UK will require three copies of a commercial invoice to be attached to the outside of one of your parcels. The good news is, when you use Overland Express, a commercial invoice will be automatically created for you based upon the information that you enter into our web page. We have a tool for HS codes, (also known as commodity codes), with a selection of common items that are regularly sent which you can refer to during the booking process. If your item doesn't appear, you'll need to visit the official Gov.uk website to identify the appropriate HS code. If you have any questions about this, contact a member of our team who will be happy to assist you.
After placing your order, you'll receive the parcel label and a copy of a formatted commercial invoice. You must print and sign 3 copies of the invoice, then place these into an envelope and affix to the outside of your packaging. The parcel label must be attached to the outside of the parcel and clearly visible.
UPS parcel deliveries can be dropped off at UPS Parcel Shops or collected from your home/work.

We purposely try to keep our overheads down which enables us to offer you the lowest prices on international parcel delivery and domestic courier services. We avoid using advertising as someone has to pay for this, that someone is you!
No waiting or the need to enter your email address to obtain a quote, just provide source and destination postcodes along with the dimensions of the parcel that you wish to send, and you will immediately be presented with the price.
DHL, UPS, Parcel Force etc. - Enough said, we do not use budget courier service providers full stop. Having been in the parcel delivery industry for almost 30 years, we've seen the problems caused by these 'budget' provider's first hand.
Our DHL options utilise the Short Messaging Service (SMS) alerts to notify you (and the recipient if chosen) when your parcel is due to be delivered, yes, a bit old school now, however, very convenient as no apps are required to receive the notification.
