Overland Express

From 01 November 2023, Overland Express will no longer be offering most DHL Express and Road services due to unreasonable additional collection and carriage charges that have been imposed, which are out of our control.

Rather than add a nominal collection charge, DHL have decided that it is not efficient for them to collect single parcels from different addresses and prefer to collect large amounts of parcels from single addresses.

However, we have now negotiated lower rates with UPS, therefore, Overland Express will be now using UPS as our flagship carrier.

For UK deliveries, the prices will be the same as the current DHL rates up to 10 kg and cheaper for parcels between 10.5 kg and 20 kg. International deliveries with UPS will also be cheaper whilst offering the same level of service and transit times that you currently receive. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding these changes.

Our paint shipping site should only be used to send paint and associated items, and the container holding the paint must have the lid taped down and then placed inside a bin liner or similar to contan any spillage.

Perfume can only be shipped in small quantities, large quantities are extremely flammable and are considered dangerous goods. All perfumes must be shipped by road services and are not permitted as air freight (Express).

All complete wheel and wheel rim shipments should be boxed or fully wrapped in cardboard, with the exception of tyres, which sould be shrink wrapped individually.

Communication Preferences

At Overland Express we take your privacy seriously.

Strictly Necessary Communications

It is necessary to send email communications which include invoices and parcel labels etc. We may also personally contact you should there be any problems with your bookings or if we require clarity on any aspect of your bookings. These communications are strictly necessary and unavoidable.

Other Communications

We may, from time to time, retire or add new services, which we feel our customers should be aware of. Likewise for special occasions, such as Black Friday and other events, we may offer discount vouchers which you can use to save money on parcel and/or insurance products during these events. These emails are considered marketing communications and require your explicit consent by opting in.

We want to reiterate that these emails will be every now and then and not a daily or indeed weekly occurrence.

Any email which is sent by Overland Express, in accordance with the GDPR rules, will contain a hyperlink where you can change your preferences at your discretion.

Selling of Personal Data

Overland Express have never, and do not intend to ever sell or give personal information away to third parties for marketing or similar purposes. It should be noted, however, that we are required to provide the information that you enter to our courier partners in order to facilitate your parcel deliveries. Our courier partners will have their own similar privacy policies.
