About This Service

At Overland Express, we have been sending parcels for over a quarter of a century. We only partner with reputable and reliable parcel courier companies such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, Parcel Force and DPD which allows us to provide you with savings of up to 60% on all of your domestic and international parcel deliveries.

When sending a parcel, we make it as simple as possible for you. With our Send a Parcel Tool, we compare the prices for you, offering you the lowest rates for domestic and International parcel delivery.

A cardboard box must be used for the outer packaging due to COVID-19 handling restrictions.

Whether you choose Express delivery or economy delivery, we have a large choice to suit your requirements and budget, from shipping documents to sending gifts and samples.

If sending alloy wheels (or tyres) you must use our send wheels page. For perfumes, please use our send perfume page or for paint, use our send paint page. This is to prevent prohibited items being sent through the wrong service.

Simply select your chosen carrier, enter your details, print off and attach your parcel label.

Any export paperwork that is required to send a parcel, will be sent to you free of charge.

If you are sending high value items, or items requiring specialist insurance, we have arranged our own policy. This cover’s sending guitars, musical instrument shipping, or sending fragile items by courier. You can also send laptops or computers, fully insured against loss or damage. Please read our packing instructions for further advice on preparing your items for shipping.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What parcel delivery options do you offer?
A. We offer you a wide range of parcel collection and drop off options. With timed deliveries and the facility to drop off at the Post Office or local parcel shops.

Q. Do I need to package my item?
A. Any item that is sent with us, will need to be packed. We cannot accept unpackaged items. For more advice on packing, please visit our packing page.

Q. Are my items covered against loss or damage?
A. We offer £50 of free cover, against loss or damage. You can also insure higher value items at an additional nominal cost.

Q. I do not have a printer, can I still use your services?
A. You are required to print off and attach a bar coded label to your parcel. This label is for your protection. Without this, the parcel cannot be scanned or tracked. The drivers cannot bring parcel labels with them and will refuse to collect your item, if it does not have a parcel label attached.

Q. Will I have to pay Customs duty when I send a parcel?
A. This is at the discretion of the local Customs office in the destination Country. Customs will contact the receiver directly if an amount is payable. We cannot intervene in this matter. This will only apply to dutiable items sent outside of the UK (Northern Ireland is not classed as the UK since Brexit). Duty is not charged on documents to any destination.
