When you need to send a Makita drill or find a courier for a DeWalt saw, you may have reservations due to the cost of these items, however, we are able to offer insurance for your power tools whilst they are being shipped up to a maximum of £20,000.00 (exclusions apply).
A cardboard box must be used for the outer packaging due to COVID-19 handling restrictions.

Packing Advice
Any items that contain oil or petrol, or other hazardous liquids must be drained and cleaned of any residue before sending.
When sending power tools, use the original packaging or hard case if you have it, as this will provide the maximum protection to the item. Please ensure that any battery powered tools cannot be accidentally activated.
When boxing items, wrap the item in several layers of bubble wrap, before placing in a strong outer box. Please ensure that the item cannot move around inside the box.
Voids can be filled using loose packaging materials, such as packaging peanuts or loose bubble wrap.
Once packed, shake the box to check if there is any movement, if there is, add additional packing material. Once you are satisfied with the packing, seal the box with 2-3 layers of strong packaging tape.
If you are sending a lithium ion battery, please either make sure that it is contained within the item, or packaged separately, with the terminals covered.
Do not pack them with other items, or metal objects, or tools. A maximum of 2 lithium Ion batteries can be sent per consignment. If in doubt, please contact us. These must be boxed.
Protect any sharp edges with bubble wrap, an old towel, or foam, for tools such as hacksaws, saws, jigsaws etc, then wrap the whole item in cardboard.
