A commercial invoice is required to describe the contents and value of the goods being sent. We will produce this document for you based upon the following information that you enter at the time of booking your delivery:

•The value of each individual item in the consignment in GBP
•The HS Code (also known as a commodity code) for each unique item within your consignment
•The country where the item(s) originated or were manufactured
•If you are a VAT registered business, you will need to know your VAT number or EORI number

If you fail to provide the correct information, it may cause undue delay to your deliveries and leave you liable to prosecution and/or heavy fines, so this is a crucial step in the booking process. This document consists of 3 pages, each of these pages should be printed out (printer required) and placed into an envelope and clearly marked 'Commercial Invoice' then attached to one of the parcels that you are shipping to China. Please note that the recipient of any goods shipped outside the United Kingdom will likely need to pay import duty upon arrival of the items. You should advise the recipient of potential customs charges prior to sending a package to China to avoid any surprise costs. Returned parcels are subject to a return delivery charge.
