Their transit times to Spain may take up to a week, whereas our UPS Express Saver air shipments typically deliver within 1 to 2 days. All parcels sent with Overland Express include £50 of basic insurance cover against loss or damage (unless specifically excluded). However, when sending valuable or irreplaceable items, we strongly recommend taking advantage of our enhanced insurance coverage, which offers protection up to £20,000.00 (subject to terms and conditions).
To ensure any claim can be smoothly processed, it's important to follow our packing advice carefully. We recommend:
•Using strong cardboard boxes for the outer packaging
•Wrapping fragile or expensive items in bubble wrap
•Double-boxing with cushioning materials like packing peanuts or foam
•Including a duplicate copy of the shipping label inside the package
Proper packaging not only protects your goods but also helps satisfy insurer requirements in the event of a claim.
Seamless Customs Documentation Post-Brexit
Since the UK's departure from the European Union, sending parcels to Spain involves additional customs paperwork. To simplify this, we've developed a system that automatically generates the necessary commercial invoice based on the information you provide during booking.
We also maintain a database of commodity codes for common items to help you complete your paperwork accurately. If your item isn't listed, we recommend consulting the Gov.uk website to find the correct code.
After completing your booking, you will receive an email with the commercial invoice. Please print all three pages, place them in an envelope clearly marked “commercial invoice”, and securely attach it to the outside of your parcel.
Please note: This service applies only to mainland Spain and local islands, excluding distant islands and Spanish overseas territories.
Convenient Collection & Drop-Off Options
Our DHL Express service includes direct collection from your address, so you don't have to worry about drop-off logistics.

The only information that we require to provide a quotation are the sender's and recipient's postcode along with the dimensions of the parcel. We don't ask for your email address at this early stage as we have no intention of sending follow up emails should you leave before completing the booking.

High value items are always risky to send by courier, some providers will not even accept such items let alone insure them. We offer both, we can ship expensive items worldwide and provide insurance up to £20,000.00 (exclusions apply) for just 2.00% of the items declared value.
