Customs & Brexit Compliance
Following the UK's departure from the EU, all parcels sent to Spain now require a commercial invoice. We've streamlined this process:
• Automatic Commercial Invoice Generation
During booking, we automatically generate the required documents based on the information you provide.
• Commodity Code Support
A list of common codes is included. For specialised items, refer to Gov.uk to locate the appropriate classification.
• Proper Documentation Required
Print and attach all three pages of the commercial invoice to your parcel in an envelope marked “Commercial Invoice.”
Note: Our service covers mainland Spain and local islands. Distant islands and Spanish overseas territories are excluded.
Packaging Guidelines
To ensure safe delivery and compliance with insurance requirements, please follow the packing recommendations below:
• Outer Packaging must be a cardboard box, in line with COVID-19 handling restrictions.
• For fragile or high-value items:
•Wrap the item in bubble wrap
•Place it in an inner box
• Pack the inner box inside a larger box with protective cushioning (e.g. packing peanuts)
Proper packaging is essential for insurance claims. Claims may be denied if appropriate packing standards are not met.
