We only use big brand couriers such as APC, DHL, Parcel Force and UPS to send clothing. We avoid using the so-called low-cost couriers to ship clothing, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for!
All clothing shipping services offered by Overland Express are fully tracked from collection to delivery, with a signature required by the recipient, furthermore, when you send clothing with is, it's automatically insured up to £50.00 free of charge with an option available to insure your clothing delivery up to £20,000.00 (exclusions apply).
Our enhanced insurance option for shipping clothing is clear and transparent, with a fixed rate of just 2.00% of the items value (subject to a £10.00 minimum charge).
Since the introduction of the popular clothing reselling sites such as Vinted® and Depop®, we have noticed a significant increase in the amount of retro and sought after clothing being sent through our courier services due to the enhanced insurance that we provide.
In order to use our services to send clothing items that you have sold on Vinted®, you will need to specify 'Custom Shipping' before listing the item(s) for sale. Likewise, for Depop® you will need to specify the shipping cost before you list the item for sale.
We recommend that after taking photographs of the items that you wish to sell on Vinted® or Depop®, you package the item, weigh and size it, then get a quote from our website so that you can list the items knowing exactly how much shipping and insurance will cost. Don't forget that VAT is added to the shipping and insurance costs for items of clothing sent within the UK, there is no VAT to pay on the shipping or insurance costs outside of the UK.
However, when sending items overseas, the receiver may be liable to pay local taxes and/or import duty - it is worth mentioning this to the buyer before shipping the clothing items as they may refuse to accept the delivery.
Ensure that you check local customs restrictions in the destination country to avoid sending clothing etc. that may have prohibited logos or slogans.
Our shipping service can also be used to send clothing and accessories that you have bought or sold on other platforms such as Facebook Marketplace® or eBay®.

The only information that we require to provide a quotation are the sender's and recipient's postcode along with the dimensions of the parcel. We don't ask for your email address at this early stage as we have no intention of sending follow up emails should you leave before completing the booking.

High value items are always risky to send by courier, some providers will not even accept such items let alone insure them. We offer both, we can ship expensive items worldwide and provide insurance up to £20,000.00 (exclusions apply) for just 2.00% of the items declared value.
